ISOVER provided ULTIMATE® solar products for the thermal insulation of the biggest hotel solar installation

This is the biggest hotel solar installation, which gives full autonomy to Hotel Europa for heating water. ISOVER Germany provided ULTIMATE® solar products for thermal insulation of the collectors produced by SOLTOP.

Thermal solar collectors are installed on the hotel roof. The installation was designed to sustain the altitude (1850m), extreme T° differences, the load pressure of snow and high speed winds. 3 years needed between the idea and the realization: research and tests led by SwissSolar association.

Thanks to solar energy, the hotel is saving 50,000 L of fuel and 120 tons of CO2 per year!
