75–M–RoPax ferry
The client needed a light weight solution, and additionally a high fire protection in steel and aluminium. ISOVER enabled a high reduction of weight and the decrease of operating costs.
3 Wightlink Ferries
The three identical ferries are named the Wight Light (launched in January 2008); Wight Sky (launched in April 2008); and Wight Sun (completed in November 2008). Each of the ferries is expected to undertake more than 200,000 trips during their operational lives and will cover more than 750,000 nautical miles.
Insulation by ISOVER allowed a weight reduction of approximately 20 tons, and brought A60 fire retarding systems.
3 RoRo passenger ferries
As an aluminium vessel, the reduction of weight was essential for this ship. The insulation with ISOVER ULTIMATE® range lead to a reduction of 18 tons of weight, an increase in speed and stability, and the decrease in running costs.
2 Seatruck Ferries
They are 2008-2009 projects, with a length of 142 m, and a weight of 14.700 GT each.
