A stone wool slab with a density of about 150 kg/m³ in 60 mm was replaced by U MPN 90 in 50 mm for an A-60 Floating Floor. U MFA 13 was used for thermal insulation in the hull. The insulation with ISOVER allowed a 50% reduction of weight in the Floating Floor with the same specification in fire and sound protection, as well as about 8 % reduction of weight in the thermal insulation of the hull.
