Extension of two ferries: "Stella Hollandica" and "Stella Britannica"
Both ships were insulated with different ISOVER products, which allowed a weight reduction of more than 25 tons. The operating costs of the ship will be lower as planned during the whole lifetime of about 25 or 30 years. The good logistics of ISOVER, which means the availability of ULTIMATE® products, was also much appreciated on the construction site.
Clipper Hebe
The Clipper Hebe was launched from the Papenberg yard in August 2007. The tanks and cooling systems have been designed to allow the ship to be versatile enough to carry a variety of other chemicals including vinyl chloride monomer, ammonia or propylene oxide. Following the successful delivery of the Clipper Hebe, the second ship in the series occurred in November 2007. A further two tankers followed in May and November 2008.
